Permanence, I fear.

What I wish to last for ever,

Always extinguishes without intimation.

What I cling to so hard, assuring to never let go off

Often shunned me off and walks away

With no sign of pain or regret.

Permanence is never for ever…

I was taught this walking through

The paths covered with edged boulders.

Dripping off my vein, the cuts and bruises

Invisible to those I had held on to.

Permanence is only till it lasts.

One second of happiness,

A minute of laughter,

An hour of calm self,

Few hours of self care,

 is  what is permanent

Live them …

Live the every minute of life that widens your smile.

And that is what will be permanently etched in your hearts.
