In the land of flowers and greenery there lived a Princess alone and friend less. Sadness often hovering around her, filling her eyes and making her wish…
To have at least one mate by her side.
One Fine morning!
She woke up and decided to walk through her kingdom. Determined to choose the one whom she could call a friend, from so many in her kingdom.
The first one she came across was mushrooms who stood in the dark corner, with her thick hat on.
“Hmmm” mushroom …but I don’t think she is fit to have my company. Way too arrogant to be called my friend.” Haughtily walked away, the princess.
Then came the lilies, who stood there blooming happily holding on a soothing smile.
“Lilies, she could me the one… If only she wasn’t too obsessed with herself.” Flipping her hair the princess moved away.
Next was Orchids, who stood looking a little edgy with no knowledge about its utmost elegance, giving a shy wave with a nervous smile.
“ufffff not this silly little fool.” Off went the princess a not even bothering to return a courtesy smile.
Next came the Rose who stood in her supreme beauty waving from between the brushes, all secured by the thorns. Aloof, yet happily carrying a friendly smile.
“ I have never seen such a boastful character”. With a disapproving twirl the princess walked away lordly.
“Aha! The Gladiolus….Finally! This could be the one I could call a friend”
She moved a little closer…but stopped abruptly “ if only she wasn’t too proud to be so tall” Turned around and away she walked rolling her eyes…
The only fault of gladiolus was that, a gush of wind had wavered her a bit when the princess moved closer to her.
“This place is filled with arrogance, pride and silly fools. Not a single one worth to be my companion. I deserve a friend as smart and witty, as elegant and beautiful and as intelligent as I am.”
Clattering her high heels, Princess Prejudice pompously walked back into her castle.
